A distinguished in-house signature blend. This Attar Saeed was aged for a year with the initial plan to release it around Ramadan in March 2025. However, unforeseen circumstances arose when the leather kuppi (flask) began leaking, making it’s way for an earlier release. This provides an opportunity for everyone to experience this classic old-school oriental mukhallat during the winter & holiday season. We are offering it at an accessible price.

The attar features a rich array of ingredients, including Oud, Rose, Tuberose, Jasmine, Cardamom, Nutmeg, Sandalwood, Green Hojari, Myrrh, Musk, Saffron, Tabac, and Amber. Its texture is velvety and soft, with a regal allure that is both understated and soothing. The scent is not overly floral or rosy but embodies the essence of a beautifully crafted classic attar. It evokes memories of traditional first-generation Indian Attars, providing warmth on winter nights without being overly ambery sweet. The oud leather notes mimic suede, resulting in a refined balance between rose and hojari that delivers a calming effect.

For those familiar with my Oud Mukhallat, Amber Oud, Ashraf, and other oud and rose creations, this attar is part of the same esteemed family. Though I kept its character complex and journey through multilayered ingredients.

For the initiated with Shamsher, Musk Al Alam translates to the epitome of my signature blend and style. Opening boldly, potently animalic with a raw savory appeal, the perfume unfolds with layers in the first minute or two on the skin. A few minutes later, the musk rises to the fore: an incense musk in crystal beauty further touched by a delicate rose sillage in the tail of the incense. It is an appealing interplay, where musk does dominate but allows rose a subsidiary voice. Rose is quieter; musk is the main one, while rose does surface at times, crisp and fresh. Civet adds a soft, powdery muskiness to give depth to the tonkin fragrance. The balsamic vanilla character of castoreum hasn’t settled down completely yet; it rounds out the sweetness in this composition.
