Why cologne? To showcase the power and versatility of Hindi Oud. Such work is seldom available. Especially at this price. I understand the common concerns about longevity, projection, and sillage. Be assured, these aspects have been whole heartedly and with passion. I considered them challenges while creating the fragrance. Successfully, overcame them. The essence of Hindi is in full spectrum present & adds allure to this exquisite blend. This initiative was inspired by a genuine customer's request. Also, my longtime desire to honor role model in my life. The result is a quality product reflecting true traditional craftsmanship.

Many judge based on price and quality. I defied this logic by achieving a balance between cost-effectiveness and quality with craft. It was challenging.

My approach is all about embracing bold, distinctive ingredients and blending them passionately without concern for convention or broad appeal. These ingredients, while often polarizing, share a unifying thread that makes the blend truly magical.

Imagine roasted Onycha shells elevating this coffee and tobacco infusion into a comforting experience with castoreum imparting an ethereal, unparallel allure of the blend. Envision a classic Americano cup transformed with a dollop of creamy sandalwood and a hint of vanilla, intertwined with tonka. A smoking Romeo Y Julieta at rest in an ashtray. It is an animalic note that clouds up with a bold, raw appeal in air. Upon skin, it opens to a mix of green, citrusy Taif rose blended with orange sweetness and the soft, powdery note of lavender, underlined by the indolic backtone of frangipani, while the jasmine blossom amplifies a rich musk, layered with bittersweet sandalwood and spices. Added to this is Hojari, which gives a magic touch to the green citrus, myrrh, and benzoin-earthly calm texture. Notably, the real pineapple sweetness unexpectedly but interestingly sits atop with the musk. This is the only fragrance in this category that offers such a broad palette of ingredients. The thing I like most about it is the dry down-the revelation of this sultry, magnetic, stunningly powdery layer of tonkin musk with solid woody accent which has formed over oud. For the musk lover who wishes the sophistication of its powdery aspect than Tropical Musk is the scent.

Oud & Rose is the most treasured combination. There is something appealing, even forbidden, about it that has always enchanted me. Over the years, I have tried countless variations, each different in its own way. My love for it is as alive today as it was decades ago.

To begin with the vintage Bulgarian Rose contributes notes that are almost like lychee, while the Damascena of Jebel Akhdar Mountains adds a slight tint of citrus. The roses combine well with Kalakassi oud, which is recognized for its incense-like feel and slight smokiness.While listening to an old classic by Rafi Saab, entranced and top of it uplifted by the Kalakassi Al Ward into a near trance-like state, giving me goosebumps.

Already reaching that hay and soft, plush leather in the heart was ambitious because the use of alcohol as a carrier dilutes the experience. I countered this with aggressively increasing the concentration of oud in order to keep the integrity as an oil experience. The final blend ensures that Kalakassi appears throughout the whole olfactory experience.

This journey was complicated. Kalakassi Al Ward was perhaps my toughest challenge, yet is undeniably one of my most outstanding creations. The blend assures keeping you warm through the coldest of winters-a powerhouse combination of pure Hindi Oud and Rose.
